Full Title (too long): Never Bring A Sword To A Gunfight
This was drawn way back around the mid-1990s, back when I would draw out key scenes for stories, or just scenes that I wanted to write about. It was an idea for a story I considered but never developed beyond "dude who fights modern gangsters with a sword."
The guy with the gun look SOOOO yakuza, and this was long before I began watching anime and knew what the yakuza were. I wasn't even into sword collecting back then. Which explains why his grip on the sword is TOTALLY wrong. LOL! Nowadays, I own many swords and half a dozen guns, so perhaps one day I'll redraw this showdown with better detail and MUCH better quality.
Who knows! Maybe some day I'll get around to writing the story of this sword-wielding crime fighter. Although really, the idea has been overdone to DEATH!
